In October 2009, I was invited to join St. Joseph Hospital in Orange, CA, as an RN involved in our Magnet re-designation. A mishap befell when massive amounts of Magnet documentation toppled over and flattened me. Fortunately, the St. Joseph Hospital team encouraged me to continue to be involved with our Magnet Journey.
